Control register

Using the control register, you can compare calculated wage components of multiple periods. In the 'classical' control register you can compare two periods and the differences per line are shown. In the Control register annual report you can view more than two periods.

You see a wage component in the control register if you have specified this for the wage component.

Control register (compare two periods)

The control register enables you to compare two periods, for example to quickly identify errors.

Example:

If you want to compare period 1 of 2016 with period 12 of 2015, specify the following values:

  • Year 1: 2015
  • Year 2: 2016
  • Period 1: 12 (December)
  • Period 2: 1 (January)

To view the control register:

  1. Go to: HR / Payroll / Overview / Control register.

You can also view the control register by selecting HR / Payroll / Salary processing cockpit and performing the Output action. If you use this action, the selected period is always compared with the preceding period.

  2. Select the employer and the period table.
  3. Enter the years.
  4. Select the periods.
  5. Click on: Finish.

Profit CLAs are supplied with a default configuration that is maintained by AFAS. To make a distinction between the default configuration and your own configuration, you see your own wage components in a different colour (purple).

  6. You can quickly trace the differences between periods by using the quick filter on the Difference column. Profit supplies the control register as default, so it only shows the differences.
