Edit compressed lines
When editing a draft and changing the compressed lines, the total of the detail lines must always be in balance with the compressed line. When you change the amount or processing method in a compressed line, the entry window for the detail lines is always opened automatically. This shows you what impact the change in the compressed lines has on the detail lines straight away. You can also directly change the detail lines. The actual change in the compressed line will only take effect when you complete the entry window with detail lines.
Description
If you change the Processing method in the compressed line from Invoice to Delay, you can change one or more detail lines to Write off immediately. Do this if you do not want to delay all the detail lines but want to write off some of these lines.
Note:
The processing methods in the detail lines have priority over the method specified in the compressed lines. The following may happen:
- In the compressed line the processing method is set to Write off.
- In one of the detail lines, the processing method is then set to Delay.
- When you complete the entry window with detail lines the processing method in the compressed line is now automatically set to Delay (after all, there is now at least one detail line with the processing method set to Delay).
Procedure
- Options in a compressed line
A compressed line shows both the amount to be invoiced and the total amount of the associated detail lines. If you change the amount to be invoiced, an entry window will automatically be opened showing the detail lines.
- Transfer between compressed lines
If you have entered a draft for the wrong debtor, you can change this by transferring the detail lines. You can use the lines of an existing draft or add a draft.
- Manual draft lines
You can add lines to a draft manually.
- Change detail lines after changing the processing method
When you change the processing method in the compressed line the detail lines are changed.
