Change a project invoice

As long as the invoices have not yet been journalised to the financial administration, it is still possible to change non-compressed invoices afterwards. For compressed invoices, you can only change the compression text. When changing an existing line, the price and the discount are not retrieved again. You can, however, change these fields manually.

Note: 

  • You cannot delete an automatic project invoice.
  • You can only change a limited number of line fields, allowing you to change the quantity and/or the price.
  • If you want to deviate from the collection setting at the sales contact level to collect the invoice or not collect it, select or deselect the Collect check box, respectively. If you select the check box, a warning about a one-off collection appears. For automatic collection you must configure the automatic collection, record the sales contact’s bank account and include the Collect field in the selected entry layout.

Project invoice of invoices:

  1. Go to: Projects / Invoicing / Invoices.

    Invoices with the Completed status, can no longer be changed.

  2. Open the properties of the invoice. that you want to change.

    You can delete lines using the Delete button.

  3. Enter the invoice line.

    You can include several types of lines in the invoice layout: work type lines, article lines, text lines and subtotal lines.

    You cannot change an article or assembled item.

    Note: 

    Profit determines the subtotal by totalling the preceding lines until the beginning or until the previous subtotal. When a preceding line is changed, the subtotal is recalculated.

  4. Click on: Finish.

To adjust the compression text:

  1. Go to: Projects / Invoicing / Invoices.

    Invoices with the Completed status, can no longer be changed.

  2. Select the invoice you want to change.
  3. Click on: Properties.
  4. Start the Compression action at the bottom of the window.
  5. Change the description and/or the text of the compressed invoice lines.
  6. Click on: Finish.
  7. Click on: Finish.
