Description
In a price list, you group prices an/or promotional prices that you then link to one or more purchase contacts. You can, for example, add price lists per currency or price lists per sector.
In a price list you only add the deviating prices and promotional prices. This means that if a price for a particular product is not found in the price list then the price at a lower level applies, in this case the basic sales price. Of course, this only applies if there are no prices available at a higher level than the price list (for example, a price agreement with a purchase contact).
Preparation
- Configuration
As a deviation from the default, you can specify that a discount is subtracted directly from the price before it is multiplied with Number.
Procedure

You can copy a price list. If you want to add a price list that is similar to an existing one, then you can copy the existing price list and save it under a new price list code.
- Add a price to a price list
When you add a price to a price list, you enter the item, the unit, the currency and the start date for the price. You can also enter a price yourself or add a volume price. You can also set up how a discount is handled.
- Maintain a price list
You can also maintain purchase prices using an entry layout. You then have an overview of (a selection of) all current purchase prices and you can add new prices directly. This gives you the option to add multiple purchase prices from within one window, the entry layout.
