Description
Before you start adding purchase contacts, set up the numbering for the purchase contacts. You can specify that the numbering of the purchase contacts must be the same as the numbering of the organisations or people on which the purchase contacts are based. After this, you can add some purchase contact profiles in which you specify which order and invoice reports are to be used. You can also use the default purchase contact profile.
Procedure
- Set up auto numbering
For each component, you configure the auto numbering so that Profit numbers data automatically as you add it. When you add a new purchase contact, Profit automatically determines the number.
- Purchase contact profile
A purchase contact profile contains settings applicable to all purchase contacts/creditors linked to the profile. This allows you to manage various settings for purchase contacts/creditors in a profile, meaning you do not have to record them for each purchase contact/creditor.
- Add the payment method
Add the desired payment method (by bank, cash).
- Add the payment condition
Each debtor or creditor has a payment condition you can link to the properties of the debtor or creditor. The payment condition is used to calculate the due date of the invoices. You can deviate from the proposed due date per invoice.
- Purchaser
You add buyers (representatives) if you want to link representatives to your purchase contacts. If applicable, you can calculate commission for the buyers.
- Set up the purchase contact preferred values
You can enter preferred values for all the master data fields in Profit. For example, when adding a new contact you can have a default value entered for the relevant fields such as payment condition and credit limit.
