Add a sales order
You add an order in order to sell items to a sales contact. With the addition of an order, you reserve the stock for the items in the order. You add a new order by entering it manually or by copying a basic order or a quotation to the order.

During the addition of an order, you can copy order lines from all kinds of orders. You can copy order lines from a basic order, quotation, packing slip or another order to the sales order being added.

From an order you can copy a basic order. In this case the data from the selected basic order is copied to the sales order.

You can add a sales order directly from a basic order. When a basic order is converted into a sales order, the product range is checked.
