Maintain the sales price

You can open the properties of an added sales price in order to view or change them. You can also maintain the sales prices using an entry layout.

Using the entry layout, you have an overview of (a selection of) all current sales prices and you can add new sales prices directly. You can also add multiple sales prices here.

To maintain sales prices quickly using the entry layout:

1. Go to:  Order Management / Sales / Price/discount / Sales price.
2. Click on the action:  Maintain.

   You now see the entry layout for maintaining prices.

3. If necessary, enter a selection for Start date, Price list, Currency, Promotional price, Item type and Item code.
4. Click on:  Select.

   An overview is displayed of the current prices of the articles that match the selection marked with the extension "crt' after the columns. You can add new prices to the columns with the 'nw' extension.

5. Enter a new price in Price nw.
6. If necessary, change the New start date. For example, to a date in the future.
7. If required, in End date nw enter the date until when the new price is valid.
8. Select the New ladder check box if the new price is a volume price.
   • Then click on 'Tab' or press 'Enter' and you come to the next line.

     You now see an entry screen.

   • Enter the volume discount.
   • Click on Finish.

   Add a new price for each article in the entry layout.

   Note:  

   You can view the history of a price by selecting a line and then clicking on the action History. You can open the entry layout to view or change the ladders of a volume price by selecting the line in question and then clicking on the action Ladder.

9. Click on:  Finish. 

For a specific sales contact, you can view the current price and/or discount for a specific item. You can also see the level at which the price and/or discount has been recorded.
