Make a new version of a quotation
If your sales contact indicates that he/she cannot accept the quotation, you add a new version of the quotation.
Note:
You can only create new versions of a quotation for quotations with the Permanent or Sales contact approval (without invoicing) status.
To create a new version of a quotation:
- Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Sales quotation.
- Select the quotation of which you want to create a new version.
- Click on the action: Versions.
- Click on Yes when the question appears.
The quotation status changes from Permanent to Current and the version number is incremented by 1.
- Open the quotation.
- Go to the tab: Quotation.
In Versions, you see the new version number.
- Change the quotation.
- Save the changes.
After you have saved the changes, you finalise the quotation again.
