Copy a subscription

You can copy a subscription. You use this action for example if you want to add a number of subscriptions for various debtors which are identical in terms of subscription articles.

You can only copy subscriptions for which the End date has not been entered. Profit will only copy the lines with subscription articles for which the End date field has not been completed. 

After invoicing you can no longer change the invoice cycle (month, quarter, etc.) of a subscription. If you copy a subscription Profit considers the copy as 'not invoiced’, so you can change the invoice cycle in that subscription.

Note:

When you copy the subscription, you enter the Start date invoice cycle. Here, Profit does not take the preferred value for subscriptions in your environment into account, for example According to cycle. The first invoice amount in the copied subscription may therefore differ from the first invoice amount in a subscription that you added as new. The total invoiced amount will eventually be equal for equal subscriptions, for example, after about a year.

To copy a subscription:

1. Go to: Subscriptions / Subscription / Subscription.
2. Select the subscription.
3. Click on the action: Copy.
4. Complete the fields.
5. If desired, select a different cycle for invoicing in Cycle.
6. Click on: Finish.
