Authorise scheduled tasks

Configure the authorisation of this section, so that the right users have access to the required functions and data.

Configure authorisation:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  2. Go to the tab: Group maintenance.
  3. Select the group to authorise.
  4.  Go to the tab: Menu.
  5. Select the check box for the menu options to be authorised:
    •  General / Management / Task scheduler (for each environment)
    • General / Management / Queue (for each environment)

    In a local installation, you authorise the following path in the central login environment.

    • General / Environment / Central environment / Central queue

  2. Configure Profit Batch Service (only in a local installation, not for AFAS Online)
  3. Authorise scheduled tasks
  4. Schedule tasks
  5. Schedule tasks for alerts
  6. View tasks
