Applicants - applicant self service (UpdateConnector HrCreateApplicant)

UpdateConnector for adding applications for a vacancy. The application is added and is submitted to a workflow. The applicant is not created directly, but a workflow is started for creating the applicant.

UpdateConnector name: HrCreateApplicant

If you want to add applications without linking them to a workflow, you use the HrApplicant UpdateConnector.

You can retrieve a list of fields to be supplied for each UpdateConnector and generate an XML example. See the description for AFAS Online or for a local installation.

Preparation
Description

You must link a workflow to the properties of the vacancy. If an application is submitted using this UpdateConnector, it automatically goes to the linked workflow.

You can submit an application from a person who is already in Profit.

You can submit a document (such as a C.V.) and a photograph of the applicant when running the UpdateConnector. If custom fields have been created in the Management Tool, you can also complete these via the UpdateConnector.

Note:

The Personal e-mail field is not mandatory in the connector. However, you have to complete it if you use OutSite and therefore are going to create a portal user. Profit creates the OutSite portal user based on the private e-mail address.
