Configure menu authorisation for definitions

You set the menu authorisation to viewing or configuring definitions per user group (or per user).

Example:

You authorise the application administrator for General / Output / Management / Report and General / Output / Report. This gives the application administrator access to all the reports.

You authorise the Controlling Manager for Financial / Output / Management / Report and Financial / Output / Management / Analysis. The Controlling Manager can maintain (add, change and delete) and view reports and analyses.

You authorise the employees of the Controlling Department for Financial / Output / Report only. The employees can view all financial reports, but cannot maintain them.

To configure the menu authorisation for definitions:

Use the general procedure for menu authorisation per group. Set the access for the following functions:

  • Reports, analyses and documents

The General main menu contains functions for viewing and maintaining all reports, analyses and documents. Limit access to these functions as much as possible.

    • General / Output / Analysis
    • General / Output / Report
    • General / Output / Document
    • General / Output / Management / Analysis
    • General / Output / Management / Report
    • General / Output / Management / Document

The main menus (except General) contain separate functions that only give access to the reports, analyses or documents of that product. The Financial menu, for example, contains the following functions for reports: Financial / Output / Management / Report and Financial / Output / Report.

The HR and Fiscal main menus also contain functions for report sets.

  • General / Management / Data collection
  • General / Output / Management / GetConnector
  • General / Management / Alert / Definition
  • General / Management / Management tool
  • General / Management / Entry layout
  • HR / Organisation / CLA
  • HR / Payroll / Configuration / CLA Migration
