Import a view

You can export a view from one environment and import it into another environment. Here, you only export the definition of the view (the fields displayed, the filter, etc.), not the contents.

To export a view:

1. Open the view you want to export.
2. Go to: Views / View management.

   .

3. Select the view.
4. Click on the action: Export.
5. Go through the rest of the wizard.
6. Close the environment.

Import and export a view:

1. Open the environment you want to import the view to.
2. Go to: Views / View management.

   .

3. Click on the action: Import.

   

4. Import a single view or a folder of views:
   • Click on File to select a single view.

     

     Select the view file with the *.viw extension and click on Open.

   • Click on Folder to import multiple views.

     

     Select a folder with view files (files with the extension *.viw). Next, click on OK. Select all folders in this way.

     Next, if you click on Finish, then all the *.viw files in the selected folder(s) are imported.

     

5. Click on: Finish.
6. Profit starts the import of the view(s) and shows the progress. Once the import is complete, the following window appears:

   

7. Click on: OK.

   The wizard displays the imported views.

8. Click on: Finish.

   Note:

   After you have imported a view, you must first close the menu function and reboot in order to select the new view.
