View a budget scenario

You can examine budget scenarios using a view or report.

Display a view

You can view budget scenarios using a view.

To view budget scenario views:

1. Go to: Financial / Ledger / Budget.

   You see the Budget scenarios window.

2. Open the properties of the scenario.
3. Here, you can only change the name of the scenario.
4. Click on: OK.

Display a view

You can display budget scenarios from a number of views.

To display a view with a budget scenario:

1. Go to:
   • Financial / Ledger / Overview / Trial balance
   • Financial / Ledger / Overview / Extended trial balance
   • Financial / Ledger / Overview / Operations per period
   • Financial / Ledger / Overview / Operations of entire time frame
   • Start menu / Financial / Allocation / Trial balance
   • Start menu / Financial / Allocation / Extended trial balance
2. Complete the fields.
3. Click on: Next.
4. If you use budget scenarios, select the budget scenario for which you want to see the budget data in the Budget scenario field. If you do not enter a scenario then Profit will apply the preferred scenario.
5. Click on: Finish.

View a report

You can display budget scenarios from the following reports:

• Trial Balance (Profit)
• Extended Trial Balance (Profit)
• Allocated trial balance (Profit)
• Allocated extended trial balance (Profit)
• Operations overview (Profit)

You cannot display budget scenarios from Allocated operations summary (Profit).

To display a report with a budget scenario:

1. Go to: Financial / Output / Report.
2. Open the report: .Operations overview (Profit)
3. Complete the fields.
4. If you use budget scenarios, select the budget scenario for which you want to see the budget data in the Budget scenario field. If you do not enter a scenario then Profit will apply the preferred scenario.
5. Click on: Finish.
