Assign and authorise a reviewer

When entering the purchase invoices, you can select an employee as the reviewer, if this employee (person) is linked to a user. In Profit, both employee and user must be linked to the same person. You also need to change the authorisation so that only authorised persons can authorise the purchase invoices.

To add a reviewer as employee and user:

  1. The employee you specify as the reviewer must have been added as an employee (start of employment reported) in Profit HR.

    If your licence does not include Profit HR or Workflow, you can add this employee by selecting 'Start Menu (F4) / CRM / Employee / Employee' or 'Start Menu (F4) / General / Configuration /   Employee'. This automatically creates a new person in Profit CRM.

  2. You then add the user in the Authorisation tool. In doing so, you can automatically link the new user to the person (and as such to the employee).

To check an employee linked to a user:

Using this procedure you can check whether the employee is linked to a user.

  1. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee
  2. Click on: Actions (F8) Person to open the person linked.
  3. Go to the tab: Links.

    In the view you see a line with a Gebr. link if there is a link to a user.

To authorise a reviewer:

  1. Authorise the reviewer so that he/she can review and (un)block the purchase invoices.

    The reviewer can then block and/or unblock for payment with the actions Block invoice and Unblock invoice using the following menus:

    • Financial / Creditor / Overview / Outstanding items
    • Financial / Creditor / Creditor, creditor properties / Outstanding items tab
