Add an employee
Before you report the employee as employed, first add this person to Profit. You need to record the personal details and the name and address data of the employee. If you add a new employee, you also automatically add the employee as a person in Profit CRM.
When you report the employee's start of employment, Profit CRM creates a link between the person (employee) and the employer (organisation). By reporting the employee's start of employment, the first employment is created.
Your licence determines the maximum number of employees that you can record in Profit. Profit compares the maximum number of employees based on the licence with the number of employees in all environments.
Only employees with a current contract count towards the licence. In addition, there are some extra conditions. See the explanation of Licence and count of licence numbers.

Depending on the activation of a country functionality in Profit, you can record an identification number for the activated country. For example, you can record a Dutch or Belgian social security number for an employee ('BSN' and 'Rijksregisternummer', respectively).
When more country functionalities have been activated, you can record an identification number by nationality. You enter the identification number and select the country.
Profit displays the generated code to be used in Profit CRM. If required, you can record a deviating code for use in Profit HR.
