You report an employee as employed if you accept an applicant as an employee, re-employ an employee or if a new employee needs to be added directly. During the reporting of the employment of an employee, you supply all the data that is important for the initial employment.

Description

The process for adding a new employee is as follows:

When the employee actually enters employment, just register the employee as employed. During this procedure, complete all the data that is important for a first-time employment. After this, the employee is given a 'basic' employment in Profit that consists of a contract, a salary, a job and department, a timetable and the required agencies. Afterwards you can add any additional data, such as level of education, courses and the company car.

You can add employees and report the start of their employment in InSite and in Profit Windows. There are two major differences between InSite and Profit Windows.

In InSite, the report of the employment start immediately enters a workflow and goes to the person who must approve the employment start. You also use profiles in InSite. A profile only includes the fields that have to be completed. That saves you a lot of time. In Profit Windows, on the other hand, you have more configuration options.

Maximum number of employees

Your licence determines the maximum number of employees that you can record in Profit. Profit compares the maximum number of employees based on the licence with the number of employees in all environments.

Only employees with a current contract count towards the licence. In addition, there are some extra conditions. See the explanation of Licence and count of licence numbers.Add an employee who is not yet employed

You can add a new employee by first recording the personal data and the name and address details. You do this you if are not yet certain if the employee will be employed.
