Convert the accounting structure feature set to the reporting structure

You can convert a feature set into a reporting structure (in the current environment or in another environment).

Make sure that the reporting structure has been fully configured. You only need the reporting code. The conversion adds the links to the ledger accounts.

You link a reporting code to each feature. You specify a ledger set for the conversion, as a result of which the ledger accounts are linked to the reporting codes.

To link a reporting code to a feature:

1. Go to: Financial / Reporting / Configuration / Feature set.
2. Open the properties of the feature set.
3. Go to the tab: Features.
4. Open a feature.
5. Select the Reporting cockpit.
6. Click on: OK.

To convert the accounting structure to the reporting structure:

1. Go to: Financial / Reporting / Configuration / Feature set.
2. Click on the action: Convert to reporting.
3. Select the Feature set and the Ledger set.
4. If you want to populate the reporting structure of another environment, select Relation environment. Next select the environment.
5. Select Overwrite existing link, if the links between reporting codes and ledger accounts may be overwritten.
6. Click on: Finish.
