Specify the reminder settings per debtor

For each debtor, you specify whether you want to send the reminders via e-mail or print them. You can also specify per debtor whether you want to use a specific reminder set.

To specify the reminder settings per debtor:

  1. Go to: Financial / Debtor / Debtor.
  2. Open the properties of the debtor.
  3. Go to the tab: Payment.
  4. Select the Send reminder check box if you want to send reminders to the debtor using Profit.
  5. Select a Deviating reminder set , if you always want to use the same reminder set for this debtor.

If you do not link a reminder set, then Profit uses the reminder set that you specify when adding a new reminder run.

If you want the reminders to be in French, German or English, select a different reminder set.

  6. Go to the tab: General.
  7. Check or change the preferred supply type and preferred contact.

For each specific report to be supplied you can set up a different supply method and different contact on the Digital tab.

  8. Go to the tab: Digital.
  9. Click on the action: Maintain.

In the top of the entry layout you can see the general settings concerning the supply type and contact for this debtor.

  10. Select Reminder as the Report type:.
  11. Select the Print and/or by e-mail supply type.
  12. Select the contact person you want to e-mail the reminders to.

If an e-mail address has not been set for this contact person, Profit uses the general e-mail address of the debtor.

You can also show the contact person on the reminders (even if you are not sending them by e-mail). If you want to do this, you must add the field for the contact person to the reminder layout. You can do this by adjusting the relevant report layout.

  13. Click on: Finish.
  14. Click on: OK.
