Manual control

The user submitting the dossier item (and the user the task is sent to) can select another user to complete the task.

You can use the basic roles Resp. person and Employee to manually determine which user should complete the dossier item.

You can select a responsible person when a dossier item is submitted or do this later on via the properties of the dossier item. Furthermore, each user who can see the dossier item as a task, can manually forward it to another user. This is done by selecting the following action in the properties of the workflow:

  • Transfer task: if you transfer a task then the dossier no longer comes back to the original employee.
  • Delegate task to: if you delegate a task, it remains in My tasks.

In addition to the transfer and delegation of tasks, you can make yourself or somebody else responsible for a task. You do this with the actions Make me responsible and Make someone responsible.

These actions are available if you add the check boxes for the Delegatable or Delegate task to the task in the Workflow Editor.
