Configure a sales contact for e-invoicing

For each sales contact/debtor, you specify whether you want to send the invoices as e-invoices or via e-mail. In addition, you determine per debtor which contact is the general contact person.

For each report type, you can deviate from the general contact person and issue method if, for example, you want to set up a different issue method and/or contact for a particular invoice.

To configure a sales contact for e-invoicing:

  1. Go to: 
    • Order Management / Sales / Sales contact
    • Financial / Debtor / Debtor
  2. Open the properties of the sales contact.
  3. Go to the tab: General.
  4. Select E-mail PDF + invoice as e-invoice in Preferred issue method.

    Profit will then issue an e-invoice (the invoice in UBL format) and a PDF invoice for all invoice types for this sales contact. For reports other than invoices, such as quotations, Profit will only send a PDF if you select this setting.

  5. In Preferred contact, select the contact from the contact persons at this organisation that you want to set up as a general contact.

    Profit sends the email to the Work e-mail address recorded for the contact.

  6. Click on: Finish.
