View the stock for assembly

You can view stock levels for each part of an assembled item before you assemble it. You can use this, for instance, to see what assemblies you can make.

To view the stock for assembly:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Production / Production order.
  2. Select the Production order for parts view.

Now you see the stock for the warehouse where you want to assemble the assembly preparation. Add any additional stock fields to your views, if necessary.

  3. If you use multiple warehouses, you can view the stock information by warehouse:
    1. Open the properties of the line.
    2. Select an entry layout.
    3. Click on the action:Assembled item.
    4. Select a line with an article.
    5. Click on the action:Stock information.

Next, you see the stock data for the part in the different warehouses. If there is not enough stock in the assembly warehouse, then, if applicable, you can transfer stock, replace a part or select a different warehouse.
