Manage queue / view errors in queue

You can view the queue of the current environment. Profit indicates which tasks have been performed and whether they were performed successfully.

Once a task has been started in the queue, you cannot stop or delete it. You can only stop a task if it has the In queue to be carried out or Initialising of batch process status.

To manage the queue:

  1. Go to: HR / Payroll / Salary processing cockpit.
  2. Click on the action: Queue.

Profit shows all tasks and their status. If necessary, use a filter to get a better overview of the desired tasks.

You can also view the queue by selecting General / Management / Queue.

  3. Click on the action: Error information, if the status indicates that Profit could not complete the task.

You open an error report. Without the queue, these messages would appear during the processing in Profit, but now you retrieve them using this action.

Tasks are linked to each other, because usually there are mutual dependencies. If a specific task has not been completed because of errors, Profit does not execute the tasks linked to that task either.

    Note:

If Profit reports that the processing has been completed with warnings, Profit displays the warnings for the processed period.

  4. Click on the action: Task information.

You see the information on the completed task. For the task for assigning periodic increases, you see an overview of the assigned periodic increases.

  5. You can delete a task from the queue. You have to take the following into account:
    • Other tasks may depend on the task you are deleting. The dependencies make the queue a chain of tasks, ensuring that, for example, processes and approvals are performed in the correct order. If you delete a task, subsequent tasks cannot be performed anymore.
    • A task can have documents and files linked to it (pay slips, report sets, payment files and 'OLP/PLO' files). If you delete a task, these documents and files will be deleted from the server. The documents and files will no longer be available and you will have to regenerate them.
