Set a cost estimate entry layout for teams

You modify the entry layout for recording the cost estimate, if you want to be able to create or update a team of the employees from the cost estimate.

To set a cost estimate entry layout for teams:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Entry layout.
  2. Open the entry layout properties that you use to enter the cost estimate.

    If you have not created an entry layout for the cost estimate yet, click on New and select the entry layout for the cost estimate that you want to use as a template for the new entry layout.

  3. Go to the tab: Line.
  4. Add the Employee field to the entry line, if it is not present yet.
  5. Go to the tab: General settings.
  6. Select Pose question or Always (create or update) for Add team if you want Profit to ask if you want to use the employees in the cost estimate to create a team or if you want Profit to always create a team without asking first.
  7. Click on: OK.
