Actual costing including VAT

You determine per sales contact whether you use sales prices including or excluding VAT. Depending on the settings Profit enters the price including VAT in the actual costing. If required, you can enter the sales price including VAT manually.

To enter the actual costing including VAT:

  1. Go to: Projects / Actual costing / Actual costing per line.
  2. Select the entry layout..
  3. Complete the fields in the entry layout header.
  4. Click on the action: F5. Select.
  5. Complete the entry line.

In the actual costing present two fields including VAT are present: Sales price inclusive of VAT and Sales amount including VAT. Profit completes these fields if Profit can find a value. If required, you can also complete Sales price inclusive of VAT manually.

The following applies when entering the price including VAT in the actual costing:

    • In a work type line in hours, Profit completes the Sales price inclusive of VAT field, if a rate is found and a sales price including VAT is entered for the rate; in that case the Sales amount including VAT is calculated.
    • In a work type line not in hours, Profit completes the Sales price inclusive of VAT field, if a sales price including VAT is entered for the work type; in that case the Sales amount including VAT is calculated.
    • For an article line, Profit will complete the Sales price inclusive of VAT field if Profit finds a sales price including VAT, thus: if in the line a debtor is entered for which Price inclusive of VAT = Y.
    • A price agreement exists for this debtor for the article in the line in which Price inclusive of VAT =Y
    • A price list with prices including VAT is linked to the debtor

For actual costing lines, both the sales price including VAT and the sales price excluding VAT may be completed; for an article line this means that the sales price including VAT and the sales price excluding VAT are determined separately.

  6. Click on: Finish.
  7. Click on: Cancel to exit the entry window.
