Issue a purchase order to a purchase contact by e-mail or in print

After generating a purchase quotation, purchase order or invoice, you issue it to the purchase contact by e-mail or in print.



You can issue your purchase orders to the purchase contact using e-mail or regular mail. For this, you can use the Output, E-mail and Print actions. Each action has specific advantages. The most advanced method is using the Output action.

If you have mailed or printed the purchase order then you see that the corresponding check box is selected in the purchase order view.

The next step in the purchase order process is generally the goods receipt.


  • Output wizard

    Using the Output wizard, you can make a selection to print or e-mail multiple orders.

  • Print

    To send the purchase order, print it.

  • E-mail

    You can e-mail an order.
