Configure a deviating VAT rate for a sales contact

You decide per article the applicable VAT rate (zero, low or high). Sometimes you have to deviate from this. For example, in the agricultural sector you may have to apply the low VAT rate to articles to which you would normally apply the high VAT rate.

For this sales contact you set a deviating VAT rate. You decide per article which deviating rate applies.

To configure a deviating rate for VAT:

  1. Go to:
    •  Financial / Debtor / Debtor
    • Order Management / Sales / Sales contact.
  2. Open the properties of the debtor.
  3. Go to the tab: Debtor.
  4. Select the Deviating VAT rate group check box.
  5. Repeat this procedure for all debtors with a deviating VAT rate.
