Maintain a basic discount (sales)

You can maintain (basic) discounts using an entry layout that provides you with an overview of (a selection of) all current (basic) discounts. Here, you can enter multiple basic discounts in one time.

To maintain a basic discount via the entry layout:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales / Price/discount / Basic discount.
  2. Click on the action: Maintain.
  3. If applicable, enter a selection.
  4. Click on: Select.

    You see the current (basic) discounts for articles that meet your selection criteria. You see the current (basic) discount in the columns the addition ‘CD’. In the columns marked ‘ND’, you can record new (basic) discounts.

  5. In the Percentage (NK) column, add the new discount as a percentage or in the Amount (NK) column add it as an amount.
  6. If applicable, change the start date in the NK start date column.
  7. Enter the end date of the new discount in the NK end date column.
  8. Select the check box in the NK volume discount column if the new discount is a volume discount.
    • Press Tab or Enter until you reach the next line.

      You will now see an entry layout for adding ladders.

    • Add the ladder.
    • Click on Finish.

    Note:

    If necessary, view the history of a discount by selecting the line and then clicking on the History action. If necessary, view/change the steps of a volume discount by selecting the line and then clicking on the Ladder action.

  9.  Click on: Finish
