Pay the 'spaarloon' amount in one go

'Spaarloon' that is paid as a lump sum, generally is deducted in periods with a holiday allowance, or a bonus, for instance an end of year bonus. The 'spaarloon' should therefore be calculated using the special rate.

The following wage component is available for this purpose in the Profit CLA and Basic CAO:

100.003.101 'Spaarloon (bijzonder tarief)'

Example:

An employee wants to pay the entire annual 'spaarloon' amount in the month in which the holiday allowance is paid out, in this case in May. For the 'Beginperiode' and 'Eindperiode' parameters, enter the following:

  • Start period: enter 01-01-2010 in Start date. Enter 31-12-2010 in End date. Enter 5 in Value. This is period 5 of the year 2010 (the month in which the holiday allowance is paid and in which the employee wants to pay the 'spaarloon' annual amount).
  • End period: enter 01-01-2010 in Start date. Enter 31-12-2010 in End date. In Value, also enter 5. This automatically distributes the annual amount over 1 period, namely period 5 of 2010.

If the employee is paid monthly, the annual amount of € 613 is automatically paid in May (period 5).
