Pay the 'spaarloon' in full

You can pay up the 'spaarloon' for the employees in full in Profit.

In the Profit CLA and Basic CAO, the following wage component is available for this purpose:

100.003.100 'Spaarloon'

Note:

Each wage component has a comment in which the operation of the wage component is explained. Always take a look at this explanation on the Comment tab in the properties of the wage component in the CLA. If you do not have the wage component available, first activate it.

You can pay the remaining annual 'Spaarloon' amount for an employee in one go. For an employee who leaves employment, you can do this in the last period the employee is employed.

At the CLA level, you can specify that for employees leaving employment, Profit automatically pays the ‘Spaarloon' in full the in the last period of their employment. You indicate this by applying the 'Volstorten' parameter.

If you manage the full payment at the employee level, you add the wage component to the employee. You adjust the parameters for the full payment of the 'spaarloon'. For the employee who leaves employment, you adjust this in the last period this employee is employed.

Example:

An employee leaves employment in March 2011. You want to pay in full this employee's 'spaarloon'. For the 'Jaarbedrag', 'Beginperiode' and 'Eindperiode' parameters, enter the following:

  • Annual amount: enter 01-03-2011 in Start date. Enter 31-12-2011 in End date. In Value, enter the remaining amount of the ‘Spaarloon'. If the employee has already paid 'spaarloon' in January and February, you enter 510.84 (613.00 - 51.08 - 51.08 = 510.84).
  • Start period: enter 01-03-2011 in Start date. Enter 31-12-2011 in End date. Enter 3 in Value. This is period 3 of the year 2011, in which the employee leaves employment.
  • End period: enter 01-03-2011 in Start date. Enter 31-12-2011 in End date. In Value, also enter 3.
  • Payment in full: enter 01-03-2011 in Start date. Enter 31-12-2011 in End date. Select the Apply check box.
