Add custom fields to a dossier item type (InSite)

Profit is a default solution that you can adapt to your needs using a custom configuration. You can easily extend Profit with tables, fields and tabs you define yourself. This also applies to the dossier in InSite.

This is an extension to the custom configuration in Profit Windows.

To activate the custom configuration for a new dossier item type:

  1. Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
  2. Open the properties of the dossier item type..
  3. Go to the tab: Settings.
  4. Select the Use custom fields check box.

  5. Confirm the message.
  6. Click on: OK.
  7. In the view, you see that the custom fields have been activated.

To add custom fields to the dossier item type:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Management tool.
  2. Open the properties of Dossier.
  3. Click on: Yes.
  4. Open the properties of the custom fields. XX.

  5. Go to the tab: Fields.
  6. Click on: New.
  7. Add the fields.
  8. After the last field, click on Cancel.

  9. Go to the tab: Tabs: InSite.
  10. Click on: New.
  11. Enter the description.
  12. Place all custom fields on the tab.
  13. Click on: OK.
  14. Close the Management tool.
  15. Click on: Yes.

De omgeving opent automatisch opnieuw, met de nieuwe instellingen.

To authorise a tab:

  1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Configuration / Functionality.
  2. Open the functionality with the name of the dossier item type (in the plural).

Previously, you have made a dossier item type suitable for InSite, for example the 'Employment start' type. For this type you have entered 'Employment starts' as the plural. New functionality has already come into being based on the new dossier item type. This is also called ‘Employment start’.

  3. Go to the tab: Page parts.
  4. Open the page part with the name of the functionality / dossier item.
  5. Authorise the new tab.

  6. Click on: OK.
  7. You still need to authorise the new functionality. You can do this, for example, by linking the functionality to a role using General / In & OutSite / Configuration / Authorisation role.
