Apply in OutSite (Applicant Self Service)

Anyone who wants to apply for the vacancy can do so using the application portal on the OutSite website.

As an applicant, you can view your own application data once you have received your login details for the portal.

In order to be able to use this function, the application portal for OutSite must have been configured (Applicant Self Service).

To apply in OutSite:

  1. Go to: OutSite.
  2. Go to: Vacatures (the overview of the vacancy documents).

    OutSite may have been configured differently for you and, therefore, the menu item may be different.

    You now see the outstanding published vacancies.

  3. Click on: Apply.
  4. Complete the fields.
  5. Enter your reasons for applying in Motivation.
  6. Add your curriculum vitae in CV.
  7. Enter your email address. On this address, you receive the login data which you can use to log on to this site, among other things.
  8. Click on: Create.

The contact person at the company where you are applying will review your application data for completeness, for example. You will then receive an e-mail message containing the login details that you can use to log on to the site and view your data. You may also be asked to provide additional information.

To set up the password for logging on to the portal:

You receive an e-mail message with the request to set your password. You only do this the first time.

  1. Open the e-mail message in your email software.
  2. Click on: the link in the e-mail message. The OutSite portal appears.
  3. Enter a password.
  4. Click on: Modify.
  5. Click on: OK.

    You can, next, log on.

To view an application and add information in the application portal (site):

  1. Go to: OutSite (if you are not there already).
  2. Click on: Log on.
  3. Enter the data you have just received by e-mail in the appropriate fields.
  4. Click on: OK.
  5. Go to: Mijn Sollicitatie

    or go to Welkom [your name] / Mijn gegevens at the top right.

    (The names of these menu options can be different on your system.)

  6. Go to: Dossier.
  7. Open the application.
  8. View the responses.
  9. Click on the action: Add information.
  10. Enter your response providing the requested information.
  11. In Attachment, you can add a file with the requested information.
  12. Click on: Confirm.

In the response, you now also see your own response.

To confirm an invitation:

  1. Go to: OutSite.
  2. Click on: Log on.
  3. Open the application with the Invited status.
  4. Read the response.
  5. Click on the action: Complete if you agree with the text.
  6. Provide a response. For example, ‘OK’.
