Payment or deduction wage component

You can adjust the settings in the wage component to indicate whether the wage component is a payment or a deduction. A deduction means that the value of the wage component will be deducted from the calculation basis in which it is included. A payment increases the calculation basis.

You cannot make this change for wage components with a root number. You can make this change for wage components you created yourself.

To view the payment or deduction setting:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
  2. Open the CLA properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Wage component.
  4. Select the wage component.

In the Change column Profit shows whether the wage component is a payment or deduction component.

  5. Open the properties of the wage component.
  6. Go to the tab: Advanced.

In the Change field Profit shows whether this wage component is a payment or deduction component.
