Configure leave types (leave to actual costing)

You can decide per leave type whether you want to integrate the leave entries with the actual costing. If yes, link the required hour type and, if applicable, a work type and a project.

To set up leave types:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
  2. Open the CLA properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Term of employment
  4. Open the properties of the term of employment.
  5. Go to the tab: Leave.
  6. Open the properties of the leave type for which you want to generate actual costing lines.
  7. Go to the tab: Settings.
  8. Select the method for accruing the leave entitlement in Method.
  9. Select Leave entitlement (accrual) based on actual costing if you want to accrue the leave entitlement on the basis of entered actual costing hours.
  10. Go to the tab: Integration.
  11. Select the Integrate leave entries in actual costing check box.
  12. Select the Leave accrual based on approved actual costing check box if Profit should only update the leave balance after you have approved the lines for accrual.
  13. The Time off in lieu claim based on approved actual costing setting only applies to time off in lieu and is not available for other leave types.
  14. Select the hour type to which the leave entries must be posted. If applicable, you can also select a work type and a project. 
  15. Click on: OK.
