Add, change and delete custom files (UpdateConnector KnCustom)

UpdateConnector to add, change and delete records in custom files.

You can retrieve a list of fields to be supplied for each UpdateConnector and generate an XML example. See the description for AFAS Online or for a local installation.

Actions that can be performed with the connector

INSERT

Add records (the sequence number is automatically assigned)

Not possible with the connector:

  • Add or configure custom files.

Points of attention:

  • You must configure the custom files in Profit before you start using the UpdateConnector.
  • The custom configuration must be added for each environment. The field codes that you must use in the UpdateConnector are different in each environment.

Auto numbering and sequence number

  • Field: AuNu

    The system ignores this field if the Show seq. no. check box is deselected in the properties of the environment for the relevant custom file.

  • Field: SqNo

    The system ignores this field if the Show seq. no. check box is deselected in the properties of the environment for the relevant custom file or if you use auto numbering (AuNu = True).
