City/Place of Birth

You can add, maintain and delete cities. By default, cities in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany are available. The main cities and capitals outside this region are also available.

Description

You always link a city to a country. You can also link the city to a province or region.

If you complete the Postal code start field, then Profit automatically suggests the correct city when adding an address. This city is determined using the country code and the postal code entered.

Procedure

• Add a city

  You can add cities.

• Rename a city

  If you want to use the foreign name for a city instead of the Dutch name, then you can rename the city.

• Merge cities

  If municipalities amalgamate into new municipalities, you can merge the cities.
