Add a survey model
The survey model is a template that you use to generate surveys. You can always reuse the survey model to generate a new survey. A survey model contains the questions (and if applicable, the predefined answers) that you have included in the surveys.
In the case of calculation questions the underlying questions may not be part of the model. Profit will then use the questions that are in the model for the calculation.
To add a survey model:
- Go to: General / Survey / Configuration / Survey model.
- Click on: New.
- Indicate if you want to copy an existing survey model or want to create a new survey model from scratch.
- Click on: Next.
If you select to create a new survey model (based on an empty definition), a window appears in which the empty definition is selected. Click Next again.
- Complete the fields.
You can enter a description in singular and in plural. The description in plural is important to InSite.
- Click on: Next.
- Select the subject type the survey refers to.
You determine yourself how you work with subjects. If you select Employee here, you can select a specific employee when you add the survey.
- Select the desired settings.
- If you select the Place questions in random order check box, Profit will not display the questions of a survey in the order in which they were included in the survey model and the classification in question categories is not used in the survey.
- If you select the one survey per surveyee check box, the surveys will consist of unique question lists for each of the respondents. That means that each of the respondents will be presented with a different set of questions. This selection is only useful if you add question categories in which you determine that a random selection of the questions will be used in the surveys.
If you select this option, you can only add the persons to be surveyed using a selection. For each of the respondents a derived survey consisting of a unique set of questions is created.
- Click on: Finish.
