Change the forecast status and the scoring percentage
In the course of the sales process the status of the forecast changes, for example because the chance of actually ending up doing business with the prospect increases. You can then assign a different status and a different scoring percentage to the forecast. The way you define statuses and the scoring percentage is up to your organisation, so you should agree internally on how to use them.
To change the forecast status and the scoring percentage:
- Go to: CRM / Sales automation / Forecast.
- Open the properties of the forecast..
- Go to the tab: Status.
- Select a value for Progress.
- Enter a value in Scoring percentage.
- Click on: OK.
- Open the forecast again.
- Go to the tab: History.
You see that Profit maintains a history based on the changes to the forecast.
