Generate journal entries for fixed journal entries

You generate journal entries on the basis of the fixed journal entries. Profit generates a single journal entry in every period, taking into account the term of validity of the fixed journal entries and the period you enter during the generation process.

Example:

You have already generated fixed journal entries up until June. You restart the generation to generate journal entries until September. Profit takes the already generated journal entries into account and generates journal entries for July, August and September.

If a period of validity up to and including August is specified in the fixed journal entry properties, Profit only generates journal entries for July and August.

To generate entries:

  1. Go to: Financial / Enter / Fixed journal entry.
  2. Select the fixed journal entries.
  3. Click on the action: Generate journal entry.
  4. Enter the financial year and the period.
  5. Click on: Finish.

    Profit generates the journal entries.
