Add an absence entry for partial absence

In the case of a partial absence, the employee's absence percentage is less than 100%. In this case, there is a combination of absence hours and working hours, if applicable on the basis of occupational therapy. If a new leave entry is related to a partial absence, you immediately indicate this. You can enter more specific data about the employee's absence in the follow-on screens in the wizard.

Note:

If the absence percentage of an existing absence entry changes, you have to add a new line to the absence course.

If you are using the Multiple employments functionality then, with partial absence, you add an absence entry to each employment.

In the integration lines for the actual costing, the occupational therapy related presence can be posted to a separate hour code.

To add an absence entry for partial absence

  1. Go to: HR / Presence and absence / Absence registration.
  2. Click on: New.
  3. Select the employee.
  4. Click on: Next.

    For your information Profit will display the total number of entries for the current calendar year (excluding maternity leave and industrial accidents). This is important if you use qualifying days, as these may be linked to a minimum number of sickness entries in the settings of the CLA/term of employment.

    Check the start date and time. For employees with a weekly timetable or work timetable Profit comes with a proposal based on the timetable.

  5. Select the absence type.
  6. Select the Partial absence check box.
  7. Click on: Next.
  8. If necessary, select a substitute (for workflows, alerts, etc.).
  9. Click on: Next.
  10. Enter the percentage of Presence and Presence (occupational therapy-related).

    Profit automatically calculates the number of hours for an employee with a weekly timetable or a work timetable.

    If not, you enter the number of hours yourself. If you enter the number of hours, Profit calculates the percentage.

    Even in the case of 0% presence, activities based on occupational therapy may apply. You enter 0% in Presence and the applicable percentage in Presence (occupational therapy-related).

  11. Select the Specify presence check box.

    You can then specify the working hours per day. If you are using the Multiple employments functionality and you want to specify the working hours, record an absence entry per employment.

  12. Click on: Next.
  13. Enter the presence per day, if you are specifying the presence.
  14. Click on: Finish
