Working week in a CLA

The working week contains the number of days and hours that is worked standard per week.

There can be only one working week in a CLA/term of employment. If you want to use a deviating working week or change the default week in the CLA, add a new term of employment. After configuring this new term of employment, add a new contract with the new term of employment for all relevant employees.

Note: 

Working week does not refer to the opening times of the company. It only refers to the default number of hours and days of work.

Profit uses the working week to determine the part-time percentage by comparing the number of hours per week (from the timetable) per employee with the number of hours in the working week from the CLA/term of employment. If you change the working week or add a new working week, Profit will once again determine the part-time percentage. We therefore recommend that you check the new part-time percentage for all employees. If you have agreed a fixed part-time percentage with an employee, you can adjust the part-time percentage for the employee.

Profit also uses the working week to determine the leave entitlement per employee. In the case of a new working week you must also add new leave types with the same start date as the working week.

To add a working week:

1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
2. Open the CLA properties.
3. Go to the tab: Term of employment.
4. Open the properties of the term of employment.
5. Go to the tab: Working week.

   You can add a working week if not yet present.

6. Click on: New.
7. Enter the start date.
8. Enter the number of days and hours per week.
9. Click on: Finish.

   Profit reports the consequences of modifying the working week.

10. Click on: Yes.
11. Click on: OK.
12. Confirm the recalculation of the leave entitlement.
