Add leave types for statutory and non-statutory holidays
You add a new leave type for the statutory holidays. This leave type applies to one leave year. For each leave year you add a new leave type in Profit. You also add a leave type for the non-statutory holidays for every leave year.
Example: configuration
Add the Wettelijk verlof komend jaar leave type with an end date of um 31-12-[next year] and a last possible entry date of 30-06-[next year + 1]
Next, add the Bovenwettelijk verlof komend jaar leave type with an end date of 31-12-[next year] and a last possible entry date of 30-06-[next year + 5] (Non-statutory leave can always be entered until 5 years later.)
To add leave types for statutory and non-statutory holidays:
- Go to: HR / Management / Configuration / Leave type.
If you cannot see this functionality you must first configure the authorisation.
- Click on: New.
- Enter the code.
- Enter the description.
- Click on: Next.
- Change the priority using the navigation buttons.
- Move the new leave type until it is below the other statutory leave types.
Once you have configured the prioritisation of the leave, you can no longer go back to the situation without leave prioritisation.
- Click on: Finish.
- Also add a leave type for the non-statutory holidays.
- Set the priorities according to the legal regulations or the rules in the CLA. Usually the statutory leave types have a higher priority than the non-statutory leave types.
- Add the composite leave type and link the just added leave types if you no longer want to enter separately based on statutory and non-statutory through InSite. For a leave entry with the composite leave type, Profit automatically writes off the correct number of hours from the correct linked leave type.
