Leave
The employee enters their own holidays, parental leave or unpaid leave, or a manger enters it for the employee. If the employee himself or herself enters the leave in InSite, you can ensure that the manager assesses and approves the leave. You perform specific actions in Profit Windows.
Description
Whether the employee can enter holidays, parental leave or, for example, unpaid leave, depends on the configuration of the CLA the employee is subject to.
Example:
You have created the leave types Wettelijk verlof, WTR, and Special leave. These apply to all employees with full-time or part-time employment.
Employees working as casual staff, will not have any holiday or 'ATV' entitlement. You specify this in the employment type On-call staff in the CLA/term of employment. This means you cannot make any holiday or WTR entries for casual staff and Profit does not maintain a balance. For employees with a full-time employment, this is precisely the case.
Holidays must be distributed over different pots in accordance with the law (statutory leave, non-statutory leave, etc.). The employee requesting the own holidays in InSite does not have to make a selection here. This makes requesting leave via InSite easier and faster. You do have insight in the pots over which the leave is distributed as an HR employee in Profit Windows so that you can manage based on this.
The condition is that you have set this up correctly.
