Authorise an authorisation role and functionality

You authorise access to the Authorisation role and Functionality for application managers components. They need access to these component to authorise InSite users (and OutSite users).You do this in Profit Windows.

We advise you to configure the authorisation as far as possible at a group level, as this will ensure the least maintenance.

To authorise an authorisation role and functionality:

  1. Open Profit.
  2. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  3. Select the user group or select the user you want to authorise.
  4. Go to the tab: Menu.
  5. Go to: General / General / In & OutSite / Configuration.
  6. Select the Authorisation role and Functionality check boxes:

You must also authorise all the tabs of these two menu functions. You do this using the steps below:

  1. Go to the tab: Authorisation.
  2. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Authorisation role / Tabs.
  3. Click on: Tabs.
  4. Select the Maintain option forAuthorisation of the selected item:.

    The application managers can now maintain both tabs.

  5. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Functionality / Tabs.
  6. Here, too, set the tabs to Maintain.
  7. Close the Authorisation tool.
  8. Click on: Yes.
