Overview of multiple document templates
You can publish an overview of documents with different document templates.
Note:
For instance, if you want to generate an overview of three different document templates, you include these templates in a filter in the properties of the view. If you do not do this, the overview displays all documents of all document templates and page types.
To generate an overview of multiple document templates:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: General / In & OutSite / Page type.
- Click on the action: New overview type.
- Enter the description.
- Enter the plural description.
- Click on: Finish.
- Open the properties of the page type that you just added.
- Go to: Actions (F8) / Modify view.
- If necessary, change the description.
- Click on: Next.
- Change the view.
- Click on: Finish.
- Go to: General / In & OutSite / Site.
- Open the properties of the site.
- Go to the tab: Page types.
- Select the page type.
- Select the Activated check box.
- Click on: OK.
The site is being published You now add the overview to the site.
- Log on and start Site management.
- Click on: New.
- Click on: Overview page.
- Select the page type.
- Select a value for Based on.
- Enter the description.
- Click on: Add.
You now link the overview to a menu.
- Click on: Menu in the Site frame.
- Click on: New.
You do this after the menu item to which you want to link the overview.
- Enter the description of the menu item.
- Select the action Refer to existing page.
- Click on: Next.
- Select the overview page just created.
- Click on: Add.
- Close the menu.
You can refer to the new overview in the properties of an existing banner, in the Source field.
