Procedure
- Set the fixed settlement price calculation method
You can determine the fixed settlement price automatically based on the parts in the assembled item. To be able to calculate the fixed settlement price of the assembled item, you must first specify the calculation method that you want to use.
- Determine the settlement price for an assembled item in the entry layout
When you add an assembled item, you can specify that the settlement price should be determined automatically. On the Extra tab in the assembled item header, you can select the Automatically determine transfer price check box. Once you have selected this field, it is no longer possible to enter a price in the settlement price field.
- Recalculate the cost price and/or fixed settlement price from the view
In the assembled items view, the Calculate cost price and Calculate transfer price action buttons are available. You can select assembled items using multiselect (Ctrl+S). When you start one or both of these actions, the cost price and/or the settlement price is redetermined for all the selected assembled items.
- Example of financial entries for an assembled item
When determining the value of the stock, only the articles for which stock is tracked are considered. For non-tracked articles, the settlement price is only an indication used for the determination of the settlement price of the assembled item. With the use of costs and work types in an assembled item, the cost price is used for the determination of the settlement price of the assembled item. Entries for these items do not result in financial stock entries. Financial stock entries are only created for items for which the stock is tracked.
