Maintain the parameter change log
A separate log is used to register (log) the addition, change or deletion of the parameter values of wage components. This parameter log supplements the general logging functionality in Profit.

Description
After you have activated the parameter log, Profit will log the changes to the parameter values.
Example:
You add the Vakantietoeslag wage component to an employee and set the Vakantietoeslag berekenen parameter to No. Profit logs this entry in the parameter log.
Note:
Profit does not log any changes to the properties of parameters. Only changes in values (at the CLA, employer and employee levels) are logged.
Procedure
- Activate the parameter log
Parameter logging only commences after the parameter log has been activated. This is a one-time action.
- View parameter changes
The parameter log’s setup differs from the setup of the general log. The general log generates a separate line for each entry, while the parameter log for each parameter displays the changes you entered at a certain point in time. This means that a single line can contain multiple changes.
- Clear parameter changes
When the parameter log becomes too large, you can clear it. This means that the lines contained in the log are deleted up to a specified time.

The log allows you to track the changes made to the data for a number of files. This allows you to trace back which user has added, changed or deleted data.
