Apply the incomplete month calculation to an employee
Per employment of the employee you determine whether the employee is eligible for the incomplete month calculation.
Profit supports the incomplete month calculation under the Education activation.
The most important condition for this to apply is that the employment period is shorter than 6 months. For the incomplete months of the employment, Profit calculates the salary based on the number of hours actually worked.
By default, Profit applies the incomplete month calculation in the case of a contract for less than 6 months. If you want to apply the incomplete month calculation to a contract lasting longer than 6 months, you specify this when recording a (sub-)employment or reporting the start of employment of an employee.
To apply the incomplete month calculation:
- Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
- Open the properties of the employee.
- Go to the tab: Contract.
- Open the properties of the contract line.
- Go to the tab: Salary processing.
- Select the Incomplete month calculation check box.
This field is only visible for the ‘PO’, ‘VO’ and ‘BVE’ CLAs.
- Click on: OK.
