Configure workflow for teams

This allows you to configure a workflow for projects with teams and assign workflow tasks to team members based on their team role in the team. You configure this if you want a workflow to start as soon as a user in InSite and/or OutSite submits a new dossier item for a project. The dossier item will then appear as a task in the task list of the team member who has that team role in the project concerned.

  • Assign workflow tasks to a team role

    When you configure a task within a workflow, you can specify the destination of the task. For example, you can select a team role as task destination. You can use this to configure a workflow for projects and assign workflow tasks to team members based on their team role in the team.

  • Configure a dossier item type for a project workflow

    The dossier item type forms the basis for the configuration of the workflow. The workflow commences if you submit a dossier item of this type for a project. You configure the features and destination for the dossier item type and determine whether these are visible in InSite and/or OutSite.

  • Link a dossier item type to a project workflow

    You link the dossier item type to the workflow via a feature group. If you work with features, you can have the workflow started based on features that the user selects when submitting the dossier item.
