Set up a sales entry layout for an order proposal

To use an order proposal from sales orders, the sales order entry layout must contain the Pending order quantity and Reserved for purchase fields.

Change the entry layout for sales orders:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Entry layout.
  2. Open the sales order entry layout.
  3. Go to the tab: Line.
  4. Add the Pending order quantity field to the line.
  5. Add the Reserved for purchase field to the line.
  6. Save the entry layout.
  7. If you have also configured the article(s), you can add the sales orders for which the order proposal is automatically maintained.
